Summary

Memorial Tree Assistant is designed to work on your device. It does not require an account, does not use advertising, does not track you, and does not send your application information to Bromthymol Blue.

Information You Enter

The app lets you enter applicant details, address information, phone and email, preferred parks, plaque wording, request options, and a signature. This information is used on your device to create a filled City of Toronto PDF request form.

The app does not transmit this information to Bromthymol Blue. When you share the generated PDF, you choose where to send it using the iOS share sheet.

Contacts

The app may open the iOS contact picker if you tap "Use Contact Card." This is user-initiated. The app uses the selected contact details to fill applicant fields on your device and does not receive broad access to your contacts.

City Data

The app includes a bundled snapshot of City of Toronto park and capacity information. Park information may change. Confirm availability, fees, timing, and approval requirements with City staff before submitting an application.

Analytics, Advertising, And Tracking

The app does not include third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or tracking technologies.

Local Draft Autosave

Application details are saved locally on your device so your draft can be restored when you reopen the app. This local draft may include applicant details, park choices, plaque wording, request options, and signature information.

You can clear the locally saved draft from the Application tab in the app by using Clear Saved Draft. After a PDF is successfully shared, the app also clears the draft.

Generated PDFs

Generated PDFs are created on your device for review and sharing. If you share a PDF, you choose where it is sent using the iOS share sheet.

Data Retention And Deletion

The locally saved draft remains on your device until you clear it, successfully share a completed PDF, or delete the app. You may also remove app data by deleting the app from your device.
